For your first resume, start with the role you want and evidence of what you can do. Use the resume builder to arrange the content, then save a PDF through your browser’s print dialog.
Prepare the content before the layout
The UK National Careers Service recommends tailoring a CV to the role and drawing on projects, placements or volunteering when work history is short. Treat this as writing guidance and follow the requirements of the employer you are applying to.
Our preparation checklist:
| Section | What to collect |
|---|---|
| Contact | Your name, checked phone number and email |
| Profile | Target role and the work you can do |
| Experience | Relevant placements, projects or activities and dates |
| Education | Institution, qualification and study dates |
| Skills and work | Skills you can explain and work you can show |
An invented example of the writing pattern: “Coordinated event helpers and maintained the attendee list” is more concrete than “good team player.” Use it only if it describes your own work. Do not add a percentage improvement without evidence.
Build the document
- Choose Classic, Sidebar or Minimal and an accent colour.
- Choose Thai or English section headings. This does not translate your entries.
- Fill in contact details, experience, education and skills. Put separate items on separate lines.
- Inspect the A4 preview and page boundaries before adding more detail.
You can add and reorder entries within experience and education. Blank entries are omitted. A photo is optional; the tool crops its centre to a portrait shape, so inspect the face and edges in the preview.
Save and inspect the PDF
Use the print/save-PDF button, then choose the PDF destination offered by your device’s print dialog. Check A4 paper, page count and text near page breaks. Turn off browser headers and footers if a URL or date appears.
Our final check: reopen the saved file, verify the phone number digit by digit, check the email and employer name, and keep the language consistent. Try selecting text and inspect every page for clipping. The builder does not guarantee acceptance by every applicant tracking system. Follow the job advert if it requests another format.
Keep a draft deliberately
The form works in your browser. The optional remember setting stores a draft in that browser on that device; it is not an account that synchronises across computers. On a shared device, we recommend leaving it off and keeping your source text somewhere you control.
If the employer requests one combined attachment, use Merge PDF after checking the resume. See the application-document merging guide, and include only the documents requested.
