Applying the same shop name or message to a batch can save repetitive work. However, settings that suit one photo may cover important details in another. Review each preview before exporting the set.
Choose a short message and its role
Open watermark image and select your photos. The tool accepts up to 30 images and applies the same text and settings to each. It currently creates text watermarks, not watermarks from uploaded logo files.
Our suggestion is to start with a short, readable name or message. Decide whether you want a small corner label or a more prominent mark across the picture. Do not use a watermark to conceal private information: the original may remain visible around or through the text.
Set placement and opacity
| Control | Our suggested check |
|---|---|
| Corner placement | Text remains inside the frame and readable when shown small |
| Centre placement | It does not cover a face, label or essential detail |
| Repeated tiles | Density suits each image's proportions |
| Colour and opacity | Text works against both bright and dark areas |
| Angle and size | The longest message remains fully readable |
MDN documents Canvas alpha as controlling transparency while drawing. In this tool, increase opacity for a stronger mark or reduce it when the mark dominates the picture. There is no single percentage that suits every scene.
Inspect the whole batch
Select images in the file list to change the preview, especially when the set mixes portrait and landscape shots. If a message is too long, shorten it or reduce its size. Checking only the first image can miss problems elsewhere.
Choose PNG or JPG and download. One image produces an image file; multiple images produce a ZIP. Open a few actual exported files as a final check. Keep separate originals because the tool clears its list after export.
A watermark is not a file lock
This tool paints text into the image pixels. It does not encrypt the image or prevent a recipient from copying the file. We suggest using it to display your name or message, without treating it as a guarantee against reuse.
For information visibly present in a photo, use blur and cover image areas and inspect that result separately. Hidden location data is another task: see removing GPS location from photos before sharing an original file.
