Formula
- Yearly income = salary × 12 (Revenue Code s.50(1), RD order ป.96/2543)
- Monthly tax = progressive yearly tax ÷ 12; the leftover satang go into the last month
- Social security = wage × 5%, wage base 1,650–17,500 baht (max 875 a month from 1 Jan 2569)
- Take-home = salary − tax − social security − provident fund
Assumptions
- A regular monthly salary (s.40(1)) paid for the whole year
- With no other allowances entered, we assume only the personal allowance, social security and provident fund were declared
- Other company deductions such as loans, cooperatives or the student loan fund aren’t included
