An address has three lines in Markdown but becomes one long line in Word. Adding many spaces is not a dependable fix. Decide whether you need a new paragraph or a line break within the same paragraph.
Why source lines join
Pandoc documents that ordinary Markdown newlines within a paragraph act as spaces, while blank lines separate paragraphs. Source text wrapping is therefore not always a command to preserve that layout in Word.
FileMyLove uses Pandoc's Markdown reader for this conversion. When source lines were wrapped only to make editing easier, flowing them together in one paragraph is expected.
Choose the structure you mean

Pandoc accepts at least two trailing spaces or a backslash followed by a newline for a hard line break. This example uses visible backslashes:

The trailing backslashes on the first two lines mark breaks; they are not intended to appear in the address. For literal symbols, see preserving example characters in Word.
Test before changing a long document
- Preserve a copy of the Markdown source.
- Choose one problematic block and adjust only its breaks.
- Open Markdown to Word and convert to DOCX.
- Open the downloaded document and check lines and characters, especially numbers and codes.
- Apply the approach elsewhere only after confirming the result.
We recommend checking unintended spaces too, particularly when Thai source text was broken in the middle of a word. Avoid replacing every newline across the document at once: correct paragraph and list structures may change as well.
Adjust spacing after structure
Once the structure is right, adjust fonts, line spacing and paragraph spacing in Word. The converter does not guarantee the exact appearance of every Markdown editor's preview. Processing stays on your device without uploading the file.
